REPRESOCIAL GIVEAWAY PLATFORM.
The startup initially faced the challenge of manually conducting giveaways through cold outreach and advertisements. They sought to transform this process into an online platform capable of hosting giveaways seamlessly. The task was to create a user-friendly service that could handle the diverse requirements of giveaway campaigns.
The Marine Geodesy group of companies carries out survey work in the oceans and seas, which are necessary for the design, construction and monitoring of offshore facilities. We develop, supply and implement integrated solutions and technologies for marine engineering surveys and dredging.
Collaborating with the client, we defined a set of features for all user types sufficient for the initial launch. The platform organizes giveaways from individual bloggers into hubs, accessible only to the organizer. Each hub contains individual cards representing specific contests with unique conditions, prizes, links, and participation forms. The service ensures participant information is stored securely for a month after the giveaway's conclusion before automatic deletion, guaranteeing user privacy.
UX/UI Design
Building upon the client's Adobe XD designs and sketches, we refined the UX/UI design while preserving the core service logic. We also integrated the ability for the client to manage content and moderation within the administrative panel, empowering them to operate the service without developer assistance.
Platform Development
The service was launched with a cloud server and hosting on Digital Ocean. Monetization opportunities through banner spaces for Google Adwords were seamlessly incorporated. Additionally, we implemented an image processing solution that removed metadata from user-uploaded files and compressed them for server space and page loading optimization.
Product Logic
We gathered the service logic in Miro, identifying three contest organization scenarios: descriptive, selection from preset actions, and custom variants. Additionally, we recognized two participant selection options: random or manual. These insights formed the basis for the platform's updated design and functionality.
